While CZ or Cubic Zirconia is best known as an diamond simulant. CZ offers alot of the same properties as diamonds. Its not nearly as hard as diamonds, ranking in at 8.5 on the mohs scale, but, it is harder then most gemstones. CZ also has the ability to be made into different colors and most importantly much cheaper then the rarer Diamond. This inexpensive CZ offers a high quality gemstone. Seemingly, Marcasite and Pyrite are the same in chemistry. However in crystal structure and other differences, Pyrite and Marcasite are different. A brief and far from complete history of charms.
